NYX Cleaning Services, LLC was founded by Lori Andrade in 2021. The company is 100% woman and minority owned and operated. The business was formed to meet current and growing market demand for professional and reliable commercial maintenance and janitorial services in the Detroit and metropolitan areas. Here at NYX Cleaning Services, we strive to provide high quality, professional commercial services in the most populated areas of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw.
FOUNDER
Lori Andrade
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Lori obtained both a B.S. in Construction Management and a MS in Engineering Management. She has extensive knowledge of quality control and safety within construction as she has been in the construction field since 2008. Lori began her career in as a safety engineer in 2012 and transitioned to a project engineering roll through the course of her career. During her time in the field, she developed the skills and knowledge of the construction industry and found her passion for management. She has worked as an embedded owner's representative with a major automotive company and was a project engineer for four years with two of the largest construction companies in the United States. She later moved on as a project engineer for a small construction company managing major aspects of multiple K-12 projects for many districts, such as the Lincoln Park, Farmington, Melvindale community school districts. Having experienced the opportunity to be involved in the K-12 education sector, Lori decided to work towards opening a company that addressed some of the immediate needs many of her school districts required solutions for.
